Following the Finance Contract "Ukraine Recovery III" between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank dated June 11, 2024, ratified by Law No. 3905-IX dated August 20, 2024, based on two previous programs - Ukraine Early Recovery Programme (UERP) and the Ukraine Recovery Programme (URP) - the Ukraine Recovery III will be aimed at supporting investments in critical social infrastructure (e.g., reconstruction of educational institutions, healthcare facilities, reconstruction/rehabilitation of centralized water supply and wastewater infrastructure; reconstruction and construction of social housing, taking into account energy efficiency measures, as well as other social infrastructure) in the affected areas and meeting basic needs to ensure decent living conditions for displaced persons and host communities.
URP III will continue to address the consequences of the war in Ukraine, including addressing the needs of internally displaced persons and supporting, facilitating, and accelerating the rapid restoration of infrastructure in the territory under the control of the Government of Ukraine.
